This is a rare example of Smiths diamond tool finish on the 19 jewel Imperial or Everest basic caliber 100 movement. Instead of being marked 0104 which is the full caliber designation it should read 0105, but Smiths marked them 0104 as the bottom plates of the movements were from the same batches and already marked. It was not a particularly attractive finish and never reached large production figures. This watch has a case diameter of 34mm excluding the crown and has been serviced and fitted with new crystal and new 17mm strap. The depth is 10.3mm. Slightly better than average for one of these, the case is nice and tight fitting.
